I feel old!

Thank you to all the people who make life worth living and remind me every day to appreciate the small things.

Thoughts about 22

Everyone says 22 is your first “uneventful birthday”. I think it was anything but! Hard not to beat sitting in quarantine on my 21st.

Happier. Confident and comfortable with myself and my place in the world. Clearer understanding of my values and personal philosophies.

Less serious. COVID thrust me into workaholic mode. Finally feel as though I’ve shaken that (mostly). From appearing in tiktok ads to dancing with strangers in the street, I have no regrets.

Nostalgic. With new chapters starting, I’ve looked back on a confusing and fun last few years of work, play, and everything in between. Optimistic for the future.

Focused. I know what I want, what I need. I spent more time with family and those I love. Planning to continue.

Techy. I learned 6–7 coding languages, made a website, built a crypto project with WashU friends, use notion and figma like a nutcase, and still regularly play tech support for my grandparents. Love them.

Hopefully, 23 is even better.

My update
